Who is Incore Pilates?
Incore Pilates was founded by Anja Hummel and started in Berlin in 2005 and in Copenhagen in 2009. In 2025, Anja entered a collaboration with like-minded Pilates studios to strengthen the national and international Pilates community.
Incore Pilates offers daily training as well as upcoming workshops and retreats for individuals and organizations.
Incore Pilates strives to integrate the Pilates method into people’s lives. This purpose stems from the belief that a healthy balanced body strengthens our mental health and uplifts our mind and spirit.
Incore Pilates is also an appreciation and cultivation of Joseph Pilates’ philosophy and concept, applied using his unique and complete training method “The Pilates Method of Body Conditioning”, originally “Contrology”.
The overall purpose of this method is to immerse oneself through physical practice to create change physically and mentally and hereby improve the quality of life and live a life in balance. Thus, the method extends beyond training and into our everyday lives.
What is classical Pilates
The original classical Pilates method is practiced with concentration, depth and purpose on Joseph Pilates’ many different unique machines/apparatuses. Pilates training in this spirit is practiced through Joseph Pilates’ own systematically organized exercises and movement sequences in carefully thought-out progression via a certified instructor.

We offer
Private Pilates
The training is tailored to meet your individual needs and goals with consistent individual instruction. You are taught classical Pilates exercises on Reformer, Cadillac, Chairs, Ladder Barrel, Spine-corrector, mats and smaller equipment as needed. Pilates training on the various machines/apparatus developed by Joseph Pilates both challenges and supports the entire body in alternating lying, sitting and standing exercises. The entire body is exercised simultaneously, with balance and holistically. You will get the full benefit of the Pilates method and achieve better body awareness, freedom and range of movement, strength and significant results effectively. Private lessons are also recommended if you are in rehabilitation.
Semi- private / Duet Pilates
The training is with 2 participants who want to train together and still have an individual focus. The training consists of exercises on the mat and on classical Pilates machines such as Reformer, Towers, Cadillac, Chairs and Barrels. The exercises are systematically structured according to the classical Pilates method and train the body holistically with strength, mobility and flexibility.
